Covid Update- Simcoe-Muskoka Enters Red Tier
As of Monday December 14th, Simcoe-Muskoka region has been moved to the ‘red’ tier of the Covid-19 framework. This means that we are limited to a total of 10 members in the facility at any given time. To minimize the disruption of your workout regime, we are reminding you of the importance of using the Mindbody App to book your workout time slot. Please review the video below that guides you through the process of downloading the Mindbody app and reserving your spot, so you do not miss out.

Information regarding booking your sessions:
You will have an opportunity to book your gym visits for up to 7 days in advance. If you are unable to make your reserved time, please cancel your appointment using the app – this way your space will not go unused. When arriving for your gym visit, please refrain from entering the facility before your scheduled time. You have 90 minutes for each gym visit with an additional 15 minutes for getting changed and allowing for clearance of the gym for the next group. The 90 minute gym booking begins at a specific time, rather than when you arrive. Each booking session will end at a set time to allow the next group of people to enter the gym. Please do not arrive late (beyond 15 minutes after the booking begins) as your booking will be removed and the space given to another member, and please do not stay beyond your booking window.

Group Fitness
Our group fitness programs will still be taking place, but they are moving to Facebook Live. The classes can be accessed through The Centre’s Facebook 

Our online group fitness schedule is as follows:

  • Zumba with Jenny: Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6.30 pm
  • Circuit training Chris: Mondays & Fridays at 7.00 am
  • Yoga with Matt: Sunday at 9.30 am & Tuesday at 8.00 am

    Extended opening hours:

    To accommodate our members, we are extending our opening hours as follows:

    Monday-Friday: 6.00 am – 9.30 pm
    Sat/Sun: 8.00 am – 4.00 pm

    We will monitor demand as we go and we will adjust where needed.

    Our ongoing safety measures:

    As we strive to continue to provide you with a safe and healthy environment for your fitness endeavors, we’d like to remind you of the primary actions we’ve taken to fulfil these goals:

    • Enforce a 3 meter physical distancing protocol
    • Invested in air scrubbers (clean the air), air foggers (mist virucide), and upgraded out HVAC unit filters to ensure your breathing fresh air
    • Heightened cleaning protocol and cleaning diligence
    • Enforcing mask wearing, unless performing a bout of exercise
    • Gone above and beyond mask wearing guidelines, implementing a 100% mask wearing policy Monday-Friday 8am-10am
